Philosophy
At Up North, we aim to offer a personal rendition of Scandinavian cuisine. Our selective products and typical methods of cooking are all being subjected to an innovative Nordic gastronomic approach.
Carrying this line of thinking further together with our suppliers, We see it as a challenge to play a part in bringing forth a regeneration of Nordic culinary craft, in its capacity to encompass the ‘Up North’ region and to bring this to Brussels with its distinctive tastiness and special regional character.
The Nordic Atmosphere
The vision behind the restaurant's interior design has been guided toward bringing about a mix between the original and the modern, in synchronicity with Up North’s gastronomic philosophy. In its touch, the restaurant makes a rather straightforward appearance : simple, uncluttered and beautiful details, which mirror both the Scandinavian way of thinking and the Nordic atmosphere.
Centrally located near to the Grand Place of Brussels gives a central and attractive location.
